chatGPT: future self

Sometimes an Instagram reel shares something powerful. Writing your dream future self into chatGPT is the new and improved vision board. Here is the original reel, writing prompt, and my results.

Not only does chatGPT write a plausible and lifelike story, but it also reads into my whole personality and adds lovely descriptions of a life full of wellness and beauty.

 
 
 

How to do it:

  1. Write out all your future goals and describe them in a regular doc. Everything you’d like to have, do, and be. THINK BIG. Write your wildest dreams for the best results!

  2. Write into ChatGPT (it’s free) “tell me a story of a day in the life as my future self based on this description”: then copy and paste your doc!

  3. Read through your future you! Get into your feels and truly visualize it and let it sink in. This is where you’re going!

I speak German and live in Hamburg for 7 months from March to October. I have an intermediate level of speaking, writing, and understanding German. I have money to live on my own, visit spas, and museums, and take week-long trips to nearby cities like Stockholm, Oslo, Nuremberg, and coastal cities with great hydrotherapy spas. I travel to different hydrotherapy spas, saunas, salt caves, float centers, and new healing technologies. I have appointments with massage therapists, reiki healers, estheticians, cranial-sacral therapists, and acupuncturists. I have my own income by making money by blogging about these experiences. With my money, I rent my own apartment when I travel, stay at any luxury hotel, purchase any food I want at the grocery store and restaurant, and support local artists, bookstores, and racetracks. I drive classic cars to beautiful spa resort destinations. I receive free travel and hotel and spa visits.  Many wellness centers and spas hire me to visit and review their spas.

Today, you're here to review their innovative salt cave and hydrotherapy pool. You sink into the calming waters, feeling the tension of the week dissolve with every ripple.

Post-spa, you grab a light lunch at a local café, savoring a fresh pretzel and a bowl of hearty soup. You take a moment to jot down notes for your blog while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Your German has improved significantly, allowing you to engage in conversation with the friendly locals. They share recommendations for hidden gems around the city—art galleries, quaint bookstores, and unique eateries.

After lunch, you decide to visit a nearby art exhibit featuring local artists. The gallery is small but bursting with creativity, and you find a stunning piece that resonates with you. You buy it, supporting the artist and adding a beautiful touch to your home.

This Day in the Life included a few things that were unlike me such as wearing a leather jacket and dinner with red cabbage. I asked chatGPT to change my jacket to my favorite jacket and my dinner to Kartoffelsuppe - a hearty potato soup. Super easy.
