design with me: snail sanctuary
In this vlog, I’m starting a project to design a sanctuary for snails. This is the first in a series where I’ll update you on my research, development, and design process. The process incorporates elements of meditation, hydro, and nature therapy, while I experience the healing benefits from designing for others.
draw with me: angel mirror
This vlog is an extra long and cozy draw with me. The drawing is based on Johann Nilson's Trumeau de Glace, Germany, 18th c. In following my spirit guides, I added my own angel embellishments, creating a peaceful and meditative experience.
draw with me: ikebana
Ikebana is the meditative art of Japanese flower arrangement, focusing on balance, simplicity, and nature's elegance. In this vlog, I explore a similar calming process through drawing on post-its, capturing the essence of flowers in quick, mindful sketches.

The beauty, energy, and art therapy of makeup uses color as a tool for self-expression. Inspired by Sister Corita Kent’s creativity and resilience, I share how adding bold colors to my routine helps me embrace my inner strength and creativity, turning my beauty ritual into a transformative experience.

Spas in Hamburg
Healing from Crohn’s disease brings me back to my days of traveling. With the freedom of wellness, I feel inspired to make destination goals and Hamburg, Germany is the first on the list. A quick research this weekend opened up several spas and float centers that I would like to relax in.
Intro to CATs
Creative Arts Therapies (CATs) are mental, physical, and emotional health specialties that integrate art, dance, music, theater, and poetry to foster authentic healing, enhance self-awareness, and provide multidimensional forms of communication. After meditation, progress to our personal truths may arise as well as emotions, memories, and traumas. CATs can help to heal those tough emotions as well as enrich our soul.

favorite tv intros
Making playlists is great fun, it has art, tech, and music therapy wrapped in one. I wasn’t expecting it to have any therapeutic benefit but this topic created a specific venn diagram of music and video content that struck chords in nostalgia, self-realization, and emotional healing. Favorite tv intros are specific enough to cut the fat from popular opinion and get down to the intros that spark joy in relaxing and watching tv.
From Bedridden to Collagin
When I was 23 I was stuck in bed from Crohn’s disease. I gravitated toward passive activities such as browsing books, magazines, and photo albums and found refuge in the art of collaging. Collage is similar to meditation. I felt relaxed, restored, and rejuvenated enough to rebuild my creativity, self-expression, and imagination.
Hanging Out
Inspired by Sage Sohier’s “Passing Time”, Hanging Out is a collection of photos about hanging out before 2020 and phone dependency.
Germany 09 | 12
Art of Two Germanys was the first special exhibition to go on view in LACMA’s Renzo Piano designed Broad building. At the time I interned for the education department, where I designed a gallery tour for that show. That summer I traveled to its second location, creating my first trip to Germany. I went there with research about their history and perspectives from their artists and came back with photos of my own. There are many aspects of the German culture that I would like to implement into my life and I hope to add to this photo series after each trip back.
