Years ago, I identified as a modern dancer and as life unfolded, I became less able to express myself with a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Through my own exploration of therapies, I’ve collected experiences, resources, and studies to outline relaxing remedies.

My wellness recommendations are rooted from five years of working in the hydrotherapy and float industry with over 200 hrs of floating marathons and over a 1,000 conversations with clients, friends, and practitioners on the benefits of alternative healing therapies.

My recommendations in creative therapies stem from my formal training at the Culver City Academy of Visual and Performing Arts in Dance, Film, Theater, Music, and Art, multiple jobs in museums, indie films, and public art departments, and a Bachelor's in Fine Art in Interior Architecture from Cornish College of the Arts. I’ve conversed and collaborated with artists of all mediums, skill levels, and production stages.

When it comes to my own health with ten years of Crohn’s disease, an auto-immune disease of the digestive system, I’ve conversed and collaborated with specialty physicians in gastroenterology, neurology, dermatology, osteology, and hematology. I’ve shared how western, eastern, and natural treatments have affected my digestive system as well as alopecia, acne, bleeding, chronic pain, food sensitivities, depression, anxiety, fatigue, sore joints, restless body syndrome, and trauma.

I’ve extended my wellness understanding through lectures, webinars, and workshops in communities such as the Float Conference, the University of Washington’s Architecture and Urban Design Depts, and the Los Angeles Conscious Life Expo. I am now certified as a Meditation Teacher and Reiki Master Healer, as well as extended training in Mindfulness & Visualization for Athletes and Herbal Medicine.

I am constantly learning to improve my personal growth and as I’ve gained experience through trial and error, creative problem solving, and teacher training, I’ve noticed that there is one therapy that applies to human experiences across the board and that is nature therapy. Sometimes decision paralysis can be overwhelming even when it comes to your health but honestly, spending time with nature is the easiest source for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.

For my personal goal of feeling as well as my healthy dancer self, I find that skin care is the best step for self-love and meditation is a pretty great life hack but these are only my recommendations so feel free to customize your remedies just as you like it.

I also made several quizzes to guide you to a therapeutic remedy on my secret quiz page.
