Full Moon Ritual

A Full Moon Ritual is slightly different than a New Moon Ritual. For the full moon, this is a good time to focus on abundance, setting big goals, and practicing a manifestation meditation.

A manifestation meditation is about pouring your energy into your big wishes and letting them blossom, surprise you, and form your mindset.

For this meditation, be in the perspective of already living a life full of health, wealth, and happiness, as well as your friends and family. For a manifestation meditation, think about where you want more abundance to go next.

Last month was the first time I was intentionally celebrating a full moon. I was just scrolling on Pinterest and I found myself putting a lot of gift baskets in my energy inspiration board which is my general good vibes board. I had so many gift basket ideas that I started a new board and just kept going.

I thought about friends, family, and pets throughout the seasons and occasions, gifting baskets for spa care, housewarming, and holidays. Then I thought of times when I needed lots of little things like back to school and that reminded me of when others gifted me architecture, design, and art supplies.

The more I thought about this, the more the idea formed into wanting to start a scholarship foundation for students interested in architecture, engineering, art, design, and math. I started to see myself on the giving end, creating the support that I would have wanted. It then blossomed into one day donating money to help more people like building hospitals.

When I’m thinking about abundance for my future, it’s not exactly the gift baskets, scholarships, and hospitals, it’s the concept they represent. I want to bring forth a future full of thoughtful gifts.

When I think of giving to others, my mind frame expands and I learn more about myself. My dreams create a path for me to grow towards. In the next full moon, I might want to keep building on these concepts, maybe zen gardens for the hospitals, donating a wing to a museum, or creating community gardens. Or I might have an entirely different idea of what I want to energetically invest in.

Big ideas don’t have to necessarily be related to my career path and it doesn't even have to be something I'm completely hands-on about. I don't see myself designing the floorplans of the hospital or cutting the inauguration ribbon. For me, building a hospital is a symbolic concept that forms my way of thinking, keeping an eye out for ways to help people similar to the size of a hospital.

If I were to keep using my manifestation energy for only wanting things for myself, I would only move in small steps. Thinking about specific things to own doesn't give room for my personality to grow.

Full moon manifestation ideas are ones for our wealth to be put to good use. I started with gift baskets and it got me thinking of scholarships and hospitals. Try this manifestation meditation and discover where your abundance mindset takes you.

This is what I suggest from my full moon ritual. Clear your calendar for every full moon, this is a good time to not spend the evening like you typically do. I don't scroll, watch TV, movies, or even read a book. I tune into the mindset of giving and my energy guides me. I highly recommend Pinterest, their algorithm presents similar inspiration. Journaling, digital journaling, and vision boards are also great creative spaces for your manifestation meditation.

I started this meditation last month and I’m grateful that I followed my gut to think about others. I look forward to finding out where my imagination and dreams will go in the future full moons.

Your full moon manifestation meditation might surprise you and help uncover ideas more rooted in your soul, identity, and life’s purpose.
