Spa Palace

The Spa Palace is a 24 hr hydrotherapy spa in the K-town area of Los Angeles, CA. On each side are hot, warm, and cold pools, a steam room, a cedar sauna, a resting room, and a pink Himalayan salt room. The shared space has more therapy rooms: a gold room, an elvan stone room, a cold room, and a large cave of pink Himalayan salt. There is a restaurant and a break room with vending machines. This spa is so large that there are many resting areas, lounges, and nap areas.

Here is what I wrote in my Spa Research notebook: I tried out the Spa Palace in K-town, I’m having a nice time, it's past midnight on a Monday and I got here at 9. I spent most of the time in the pool area, did three cycles, and each of the cold plunges I did 30, 40, and 45 seconds long. Both the cedar sauna and steam room were nice, with lots of time for meditation, and most of the spaces I had to myself. In the pink salt room, the floor was on fire, it nearly cooked my feet so I put some socks on and now I’m chillin in the co-ed area. It is very spacious, with lots of nooks to sit and rest. Here there are other therapy rooms including the pink salt room in a cave, a gold room, a cold room, and an elvan stone room. There are massage chair rooms and two eating areas, a restaurant that closes at 10 pm, and a break room with three vending machines for drinks, snacks, and ramen bowls. I feel really relaxed and rested, my muscles are soft, my skin is soft, and my complexion has improved. I am glad I blog about spas, even when I’m not trying to review them, I enjoy documenting these cool spaces that are so unique and photogenic. I’m curled up in this royal chair with rhinestones, I like these 24 hr spas, it's really quiet after midnight and the view of K-town is just as peaceful. Nice staff here, they even accommodated my request for a locker change so I had an area to myself.
