draw with me: ikebana

This draw with me vlog focuses on studying the intricate designs of the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement, ikebana. Using only post-it notes and a pen, I walk through my drawing practice while staying calm, collected, and cozy. Grab some snacks, a warm beverage, and your favorite tunes, and settle in for a relaxing drawing evening as we explore the beauty of nature together.

I made up both of these ikebanas. The first one I drew while I was testing my camera setup, before I found photos on Pinterest. The second one, after six drawings, came out more grounded in form, composition, and energy.
